In this workshop, participants learn how to turn a research idea into a third-party funding application. They receive input on funding principles and the ‘mindset’ of funders. Using their own topics, participants practice the steps from identifying suitable calls and guidelines to drafting a convincing proposal.

Scientists negotiate daily – with superiors, sponsors, colleagues, and partners in projects or institutions. They negotiate to establish their position in publications, research, experiments, and teaching. Strong negotiation skills are key to achieving better results – in this 2-day workshop we train these skills.
