Whether in a research group, a collaborative project, or later in industry, scientists are expected to take responsibility, coordinate others, and navigate team dynamics – often without formal authority. This two-day interactive workshop introduces practical leadership tools tailored to everyday scientific work: leading laterally in a lab or project setting, guiding technical staff or students, communicating goals, giving feedback, resolving conflicts and building trust. Participants work with real cases from their own research environment and receive hands-on methods they can apply immediately.

A 2.5-hour interactive workshop that invites participants to reflect on their skills and goals while exploring how to apply for industry roles. The session emphasizes thoughtful CV preparation and developing greater comfort and self-awareness when approaching job interviews.

1-day workshop for doctoral candidates and postdocs in the natural and life sciences. We reflect on and practice how to present yourself appropriately and appealingly in written application documents and job interviews.
